ALIT develops concepts, designs and technical documentation for new and modernized industrial installations. We begin by understanding the process and the constraints of the existing infrastructure and continue through to support during installation.

MODERNIZATION OF EXISTING INSTALLATIONS
New equipment within an operating plant
Expanding a production line often requires new equipment to be installed in place of existing machinery and integrated with an operating installation.
When space is limited, we work closely with the investor: we assess the assignment, take on-site measurements and prepare equipment layout drawings together with the associated structural works.

DESIGN CONCEPT
We compare alternatives first, then develop the best solution
We prepare concepts presenting technical approaches to the problem. Where required, we develop several alternatives and work with the investor to select the optimum solution in technical, spatial and delivery terms.
The concept can include an estimated implementation cost to support the investment decision.
TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION
Documentation required for construction, installation and operation
We prepare process, mechanical, architectural, structural, building services and water and wastewater designs. The scope is tailored to the investment stage and the responsibilities of the project participants.
- Basic engineering design: process calculations, selection of materials and equipment, plans and equipment layouts.
- Building design: structural calculations, architecture, reinforced concrete and steel structures, industrial structures, tanks and silos.
- Detailed and workshop designs: structural steelwork, reinforced concrete details, gas ducts, chutes, pipelines, dedusting ducts and supports.
- Discipline designs: architecture, site development, roads and yards, electrical installations and water and wastewater pipelines.
- As-built documentation reflecting the completed scope of the installation.
